Storage Tips

Wines that are improperly stored can be ruined. Most reds age well for five or more years, but some whites or rosés need not age more than two years.

Points to remember:

  • Lay bottles on their sides to prevent the cork from drying out. A dry cork will allow air to enter the bottle that will oxidize the wine.
  • To regulate the aging process of wine, store bottled wine in cool environment, around 50°F (10°C).
  • Store wine in a dark environment. Light may alter the characteristics of wine.
